HSC VPN-Group-1 Automated Sign Up

VPN access to HSC Network resources is controlled by user groups. To access the HSC Network through the VPN, your computer account must be registered in one of the membership groups. VPN-Group-1 membership provides access to the Exchange 2000 e-mail system using the Outlook client. It also provides access to the MOON file and print server and to intranet web servers. From this page you can begin an automated registration process to add your account to VPN-Group-1. VPN-Group-1 Automated Registration Description Upon clicking the link to the Automated Registration process, you will be asked to enter your username, password, and domain information into an authentication window. This window appears differently depending on the browser you are using. Microsoft Internet Explorer Internet Explorer will present a window with three fields labled "User Name," "Password," and "Domain". User Name = your OUHSC computer user id Password = your password Domain = OUHSC Click here for a screen shot of the authentication window. Netscape Navigator Netscape will present a window with two fields labled "User Name" and "Password". User Name = OUHSC/your OUHSC computer user id Password = your password Click here for a screen shot of the authentication window. After authentication, the application attempts to add you to HSC VPN-Group-1. It will respond with one of three different possible outcomes: Not Logged In You may have made an error entering your user id or password. Please try authenticating again. HSC VPN-Group-1 Automated Sign Up Failed Your account could not be added to VPN-Group-1. You may already be in Group 1 or another group or there may be some other problem with your account.
